Whoa! 20 Years Goes By Fast...

Found these in the basement. Thought I'd post them for a good laugh...109 lbs. of bangs and eyebrows and braces (the reason for the stern look)! So much has happened since these pictures were taken 20 years ago...if only I knew back then what I know now. (I would have jumped...just kidding!)

Pretty girl. Above average 80s beauty. So when do we see the same pose in a more recent pic? xoxoxo

I look at those pictures and find myself in a completely different place! We were sooooo different then--and I'm not talking our hair (well, at least not yours).

I also wanted to comment on your forgiveness "rant." But couldn't find the right words. Although I have been thinking...alot. I think I have a job to do!

Are you trying to say my hair still looks like that? Oh wait, it did kind of look like that the other night didn't it?

As far as the forgiveness...what are you thinking? What are you talking about? Forgiving doesn't mean having to be BFF!!! Don't do anything crazy...at least not where I'm involved...no interventions or I'll kick your butt!

We all have those photos, don't we. I really wish I had known then what I know now. There are so many things I would have done differently. No real regrets, though, so it all turned out okay!

I know I have some that are much worse...one of these days I will dig them out. It could be funny. I used to love blue eye shadow.

Wow - no wonder my son married you! You were hot even at a younger age.
Didn't realize I had such a beautiful daughter-in-law.
(I really did though - haha.)
Have a good one :-)

Okay you guys...This was supposed to be funny...come on...I was counting on you to crack some jokes!!! The hair? The eyeshadow? The George Michael inspired jean jacket? Please, laugh at my expense...that's what I'm here for!

You look like someone just told you the Depeche Mode concert was sold out or that Morrissey was gay! Otherwise, I'd say you look like soemone ready to drink beer at Octoberfest, polka the night away...or goto the Grizzley Rose to check out Cowboys...or go downtown to 23 Parrish...

The answer we all want is to the question you ask: If I had known...

So what would you have done differently (and nothing about that night in Memphis with the cow and the asparagus)

P.S. I have never read a blog where a father in law chimes in - pretty damn cool.

I could never get my hair to do that then, and I'm darned glad now! LOL! I do, however, have some riotously funny wardrobe pics!

What about places like Deadbeat? 1082? The Walrus? Herman's? Ahhh, those were the days! Been to WaxTrax lately? haha Remember The Crying Game at the Mayan?

Dear MHFC,
I still have a scar shaped like Elvis on my back from that night! But you definitely got it worse than me...

ps...sometimes when I write, I think about the people who might read this, including my father-in-law. But then I remember that my husband once told me that the name on my father-in-law's bowling shirt read "Mr. Mehoff." As you can see from his comment, his first name is Jack!

Michelle, I remember those days well, the braces, the tall hair, and yes the dreadful blue eye shadow. Three females in one small apartment, the only way we survived was that we had two bathrooms! Those were good times
(even though it didn't seem like it at the time.) I would do it all over again in a minute, except this time I would manage to somehow have 3 seperate phone lines! Love, Mom
