Strange & Sad News

I recently found out that the very first guy I ever dated was murdered in Vail. I met him my first year of high school right at the beginning of school. I was at a football game and I saw him in the stands. This was back when the bleached ripped up jeans were popular and he was wearing some and so was I and I knew we were meant to be together! I told my girlfriend "that boy is going to be my boyfriend." I didn't know his name but someone told me he was a senior (always loved the older men). About a week later I was at school alone sitting in the hall in front of my locker (probably decorating it?) and out of no where he walks around the corner and just stands there as if to say..."here I am". He asked me out and we dated for about two whole weeks before I chickened out and broke up with him. I was pretty sure he wanted to do more than just kiss me and that totally freaked me out. After high school he became a model and apparently hung out with the wrong crowd and was murdered and left on the side of the road in Vail. I continue to receive such odd/sad news about classmates while in this process of planning our 20 year reunion. Cancer, diabetes and car accidents seem to have taken the lives of many.
