As most normal kids do, my kids love to play telephone. Just about anything in the house can be a telephone. Today a banana, tomorrow a telephone. Is this a remote control? No, it's a telephone to a kid. I've seen staplers, cups, and hair brushes used for making the most important phone calls placed by very serious children who like to also talk with their hands while talking into the inanimate object (where do they get this from...certainly not me!).
Today however, I had to question my youngest's ability to think clearly as she walked around the house having a very heated discussion into my husband's shoe insole. That just isn't right. I told her to hang up and call them back on a landline.
