Excerpt from a conversation I had with the kids:
"C": Your step dad.
"M": "C", you don't even know what a step dad is.
"C": I mean, your step step dad.
Mom: "C", there's no such thing.
"M": "C", a step dad is like if Mom and Dad didn't live together and mom married...
Mom (chimes in excitedly): Kurt Russell!?!?!
"C": Who's Kurt Russell?
"M" (one eyebrow raised): Oh, he's like a hot guy in mom's universe.
