People Watching

Just got home from the Oktoberfest. People watching was interesting. There were a lot of people wearing chicken hats...don't think I ever figured out why. But I realized that although I didn't want to wear a chicken hat, I think I did want to be the friend of the chicken hat wearer. I mean, if you are wearing a chicken hat, you have to be a lot of fun right? So while I did not envy the person wearing the chicken hat, I envied the friend of the chicken hat wearer. The highlight of the night had to be our fab dinner at Mexico City! Got to listen to a great local band and drink some yummy beer too. I'm so tired...off to bed...
