Have any of you switched to the new Yahoo!? I switched a while back and I can't decide if I like it. It has many new features (some I don't use and won't list) but here's the ones I like:
1. Auto-CheckYahoo! - Mail automatically checks for new messages (basically it refreshes for you when you are in mail)
2. Reading Pane - Peek inside any message without leaving your inbox (you can see your inbox and your actual message at the same time)
3. Chat - Send Instant Messages to your online friends directly from Yahoo! Mail. I'm not much into IM, but several friends have IM me since I've switched and its pretty convenient.
4. Texting (SMS) - integrated text messaging (pretty cool since I can text the hubby from my email).
5. When you start emails it opens different tabs, so you can switch back and forth between many emails if you want. Not sure why I would want to but hey, cool none the less I suppose.
Here's what I don't like"
1. Its slower than classic when loading, deleting messages and populating screens/fields
2. I don't particularily care for the keyboard shortcuts that I haven't memorized because I keep hitting keys and randomly either deleting emails or sending them to random folders without even knowing it.
3. Its just a little quirky (like me!)
With that said, I'm going to keep it for a while. I miss the Classic Yahoo!, but, I'm okay with my cheese being moved!!!!
