So Much for the Meteor Shower!

I know its silly, but I LOVE meteor showers. Every time I hear that one is going to be visible I will stay up late, turn off all the lights, sit on the back porch and wait. Well the best time to see last night's was supposed to be between 1:30-5:30 am. So I got up at 2:45 am and went out front because the showers were supposed to be high in the southern sky. But there were too many clouds. I would try to stare at the spaces in between the clouds but I never saw anything. I was so bummed. Probably best, I think my family is tired of me waking them up in the middle of the night to see shooting stars!
